The Franco-German Awards ("Le Prix Franco-Allemands") are an event organized by the Franco-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce and are held under the patronage of the German and French Ministers of Economic Affairs. They are awarded as a Startup Award, a Business Award, and a Prize for the Cultural and Creative Industries. Young companies can apply online for the 2022 Startup Award until October 29.
Requirements
To be eligible for the award, startups must be based in Germany and also active in France, or based in France and active in Germany. They must also:
- are at least in Series A, i.e. have already completed their seed investments;
- have a business model;
- have a marketed product/service;
- be able to position yourself as a partner with industrial companies.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their Franco-German best practice initiative to representatives from German and French business, politics, and culture on the evening of the awards ceremony. The AHK France also promises a presence in its communication channels.
