Medikura secures financing and funding

Medikura Digital Health GmbH is raising a high six-figure sum from private investors and is also receiving funding from the European Union for the innovative power of its online service Nebenwirkungen.de. Partners such as the health insurance company IKK BB are ensuring the service's widespread distribution.

Since reporting adverse reactions is an important component of medication therapy safety (AMTS), Medikura Digital Health GmbH has developed an innovative adverse reaction reporting system in close collaboration with medical professionals, patient organizations, and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry. Drug intolerances can be easily and quickly recorded by patients via the online platform and health apps, and reviewed by their doctor or pharmacist.

The Federal Government and the Free State also support Medikura

Managing Directors Dr. Friderike Bruchmann and Dr. Philipp Nägelein have now received high six-figure financing from private investors for this innovative solution. Medikura also receives financial support from the European Union through the Horizon 2020 program, as well as from the German Federal Government and the Free State of Bavaria.
