Metropolitan regions suffer from excessive emissions, particulate matter, and engine noise. Electromobility may offer a key to the solution. But what impact will this have on the cityscape and the quality of life of its residents? How can charging infrastructure be best integrated into cities and residential areas in the future? If you're working on innovative ideas in this area, apply now for the innogy ideas competition!
Innogy is searching for good ideas on how to best integrate charging infrastructure into cities and residential areas in the future. Innovative approaches can be submitted, both publicly and semi-publicly. The prize is a total of €10,000.
Who can apply?
First, students from all German-speaking universities, technical colleges, and academies are invited to submit innovative concepts. These should integrate the charging infrastructure into the urban environment in a sustainable and convenient way for users, and combine it with other functions of public space.
Interested parties from the housing industry can also participate in the competition. Companies and startups that offer or plan to offer charging options to residents of their apartment buildings or neighborhoods are invited to participate. The prerequisite is that the combination of housing and mobility increases the attractiveness of the property and also improves the overall quality of life in urban areas.
