BearingPoint organizes ideas competition for students

The management consultancy BearingPoint is holding an ideas competition for students. Applications are open until April 3.

The "Be an Innovator" competition is aimed at students from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Romania with a digital business idea. Selected finalists will present their project ideas on May 4 in Berlin. A jury will select the winners. In addition to prize money of €14,000, the winners will receive one year of support in implementing their project. All finalists will have the opportunity to network with other participants and BearingPoint consultants. They will also receive coaching prior to their presentations.

“At the heart of key issues in society and the economy”

Kiumars Hamidian, Chairman of the “Be an Innovator” jury, says:

"Past competitions have impressively demonstrated the students' innovative potential and creativity. By focusing on digitalization, we are at the heart of key issues facing society and the economy. The students thus have a direct connection to the challenges our customers face, and I'm very much looking forward to developing solutions together."

Last year, the "Skipper" team from the Swiss University of St. Gallen won the competition. "Skipper" developed a business model designed to offer small and medium-sized enterprises greater price transparency and benchmarking opportunities in the field of freight container logistics.
