The BIM World Munich 2018 trade fair focuses on digital solutions for the construction and building industry. Startups can apply for the BIM / Smart Construction Award until October 2nd and present their work in a dedicated area at the trade fair.
The BIM World trade fair will be held in Munich on November 27 and 28. The event's theme is Building Information Modeling, or BIM for short. BIM enables buildings to be digitally modeled, allowing for optimal planning and management. IT and IoT startups can showcase their products and services in a dedicated exhibition area, "BIM Town." BIM World Munich 2018 also features a startup award, the BIM/Smart Construction Award.
Award winners can test solutions
Companies working on digitizing the construction and real estate industries can apply for the award. The winners will be announced at the Munich Trade Fair in November. Among other things, they can expect support from the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Center "Planning and Construction" and access to a specialist network. The award winners can also test their solutions for practical suitability at the Fraunhofer Institute.
