Attention media startups: 'Rockets & Unicorns' is back! The Innovation Area of Media Lab Bayern at the Munich Media Days 2018 once again offers space for startups this year. And on an even larger stage for media innovations, with prime positioning right next to the Main Stage. What's the next big thing in the media industry? This year, Rockets & Unicorns by Media Lab Bayern will once again offer exciting insights into creative startups and innovations in the industry at MEDIENTAGE. Startups and established media companies have the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from each other in three areas. Startups will present their solutions in the expo, the lounge will be a networking venue, and both will showcase their work on the stage.
This year, the Rockets & Unicorns Expo, Lounge, and Stage offer even more space for startups, boasting an even larger Innovation Stage and a prime location opposite the Main Stage. Startups from the fields of advertising, content, marketing, media tech, VR, AR, and 360° can present their work at the booths.
Exchange with established media houses possible
The Innovation Stage will feature three days of talks and presentations on all the topics currently relevant to the media. At Strategy Day on Wednesday, media companies will share how they have developed their innovation strategies. Media Tech Day on Thursday will showcase all the latest products and ideas related to voice, AI, and storytelling. And Founders Day on Friday will offer concrete tips for founders and startups looking to scale in the media space. In the lounge, established media companies and startups can also discuss partnerships in the "Meet the Managers" format.
