The Internet Congress is entering a new round. For the sixth time, the BR scene magazine Zündfunk, in collaboration with the Süddeutsche Zeitung, is bringing together well-known internet activists, artists, bloggers, politicians, and scientists. In lectures, discussions, and workshops, all participants will engage in debates, formulate bold theses, and examine new dystopias and utopias. The Zündfunk Internet Congress 2018 will take place on October 26 and 27 at the Munich Volkstheater. Topics, speakers, and performances are sought around the theme "#cashtag." The call for papers is now open for thought-provoking contributions of all kinds. The deadline is June 30, 2018.

...is the motto of the Zündfunk Network Congress 2018! The theme is clear: Money makes the web go round! The giants from Silicon Valley know more about us than we do ourselves. They entice us to consume—and at the same time, they enrich and transform our everyday lives in revolutionary ways. What role will economic motives play in future revolutions? And what power do we have in this? What counter-offensives can we use to counter them—this and much more will be discussed under the slogan #cashtag!

The Zündfunk Network Congress is looking for new theories, utopias, and thought-provoking ideas. That's why we're looking for speakers and network experts: Are you researching artificial intelligence or blockchain? Do you have bold visions for the future of the internet? Do you want to make a statement for more diversity? Zündfunk is opening the stage for you: Applications for the call for papers are now open. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2018.
