Samsung is looking for startups: At "Life's a Pitch," you have the chance to present your idea to a top-class jury. The winners will not only receive €50,000, but also receive professional support in developing their company. Digital solutions in the field of sustainability are in demand, such as Tech for Good, Energy efficiency, Circular economy and Ecological design.
50,000 euros and professional support
The best idea will receive €50,000 and five months of support tailored to the winners' needs. This is designed to help companies achieve further milestones.
You can apply until January 14, 2018. The ten most promising ideas will be invited to a pitch in Berlin on January 26, 2018. They will have the chance to impress the jury with their presentation and advance to the final round.
Pitch in Berlin, hackathon in Frankfurt
At the pitch competition in Berlin, you'll have three minutes to present your idea. You'll then have an additional two minutes during which the jury will bombard you with questions. The three startups with the best ideas will travel to Frankfurt at the end of March 2018 to further develop and advance their ideas over two days as part of a "Creative Hackathon."
At the end of the event there will be an awards ceremony, where one of the three startups will go home with 50,000 euros and professional support for the further development of their idea in 2018.
