At the beginning of June, the startup world will look to Vienna, as the Pioneers Festival will once again take over Vienna's Hofburg for two days. Around 2,500 founders, investors, and corporates from over 100 nations will be there. Munich startups will also use this opportunity to present themselves and their technologies to an international audience. Perhaps even as successfully as Tacterion, ProGlove and ParkHere last year.
Tradition meets modernity – at the Pioneers Festival in Vienna, this means: the 500-year-old Hofburg Palace meets young companies, aka startups. For the 6th time, on 1 and 2 June 2017, Pioneers Meet to listen to exciting speakers, discover new technologies, and make valuable contacts. And to celebrate—the Pioneers Festival isn't called that for nothing. Here's a brief impression of last year:

Making Tech Human
Thematically, Pioneers 2017 wants to show “how technology becomes us” – or: Making Tech Human. How will our lives continue to change through the use of different technologies, and how can values and moral aspects be maintained despite everything?
Good place for Munich startups
A trip to the Austrian capital can also be worthwhile for Munich-based startups. For example, Tacterion, ProGlove and ParkHere recognized as promising startups at PioneersThis year, the Munich startup scene will be represented by Smartlane, Evalu, Toposens, view and User lane Perhaps some of them will make it into the top 50 of the 500 startups (Pioneers500) and thus have the chance to pitch on the big stage at the Hofburg.
