With "Energy Start-up Bavaria 2016“ a special competition for startups from the energy sector was created in Bavaria.
For the first time in Bavaria, innovative solutions from young entrepreneurs in the following areas are being supported:
- Energy generation, energy storage, energy consumption, energy distribution (solar, wind, power-to-gas, bioenergy, geothermal, hydropower, demand-side management)
- Digitalization & Internet of Things (Smart Grid, Smart Building, M2M, Home Automation, Energy Apps, etc.)
- E-mobility (electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, IT systems)
- Energy sales
- Energy efficiency (B2C and B2B)
- Energy solutions for urban and rural use
In addition to cash prizes of up to €2,500, there are valuable contacts and increased visibility in the right networks to be won. Successful startups can present themselves to renowned competition partners—such as the Association of the Bavarian Energy and Water Industry (VBEW), Zentrum Digitalisierung.Bayern, and Bayern Innovativ—and access exciting business contacts.
The “Energy Start-up Bavaria 2016” competition is aimed at…
- Startups based in Bavaria
- with a date of establishment after 1 January 2012 and
- the company must be founded or in the process of being founded at the time of filing
The three winners of the competition will be announced at the Bavarian Energy Awards on October 20, 2016.
