Wirelane takes over Ladegrün

Wirelane acquires Ladegrün, strengthening Germany's sustainable charging infrastructure. Customers benefit from new services, while both partners combine their mission for green electromobility.

The Munich startup Wirelane takes over the charging infrastructure operator Charging greenThis brings together two strong players in electromobility, both committed to sustainability. With its WirelaneOS platform, Wirelane brings expertise in the planning, installation, and operation of charging solutions for municipalities, companies, and the hotel industry. Ladegrün, founded in 2020 by energy pioneers such as EWS Schönau, Green Planet Energy, naturstrom, Inselwerke, and GLS Bank, stands for 100 percent green electricity and a consistent rejection of coal and nuclear power.

Wirelane-CEO Constantin Schwaab emphasizes:

"With Ladegrün on our side, we are strengthening our shared goal of making sustainable and customer-friendly e-mobility available to all social groups. Their uncompromising focus on genuine green electricity and flexible business models perfectly complements our offering."

"We are convinced that true sustainability begins in everyday life – where people shop, work, and live. With Wirelane on our side, we can translate this conviction into even more concrete charging locations. Because green mobility requires not just technology, but also attitude – and together we are bringing that to the streets,"

thinks Jan-Philip von Gottberg, Managing Director of Ladegrün.

Benefits for customers

Existing Ladegrün customers will now have access to additional services such as digital billing, improved maintenance, and operational management via WirelaneOS. The integration of the systems will take place gradually, with all existing contracts remaining in place.

Wirelane has been on the market since 2016 and is one of the leading operators of public AC charging points in Germany. Pursue already collaborates with renowned hotel groups such as Motel One and Leonardo Hotels. The acquisition of Ladegrün creates a comprehensive offering from planning through installation to operation. Together, they offer a comprehensive, climate-friendly charging infrastructure from a single source.
