Wirelane, a Munich resident Provider of charging infrastructure solutions can complete its Series B financing round from the Summer 2021 once again, raising €11 million from existing and new investors. The investor base includes CD-Venture, the investment company of Dirk Wilken and Christoph Boehringer. The Munich-based company plans to use the fresh capital, among other things, for the further development of charging infrastructure. Wirelane-CEO Constantin Schwaab has the goal clearly in sight:
“With the Series B expansion, we can continue our growth path to become one of the leading providers of charging infrastructure solutions in Germany.”
Wirelane takes over On Charge
In addition to the Series B expansion, the Munich-based startup also announces the acquisition of On ChargeThe Munich-based company is installing charging stations across Germany, primarily in urban residential areas. According to the company, On Charge expects to have around 3,000 charging points in more than 450 municipalities by the end of 2023. Schwaab commented on the acquisition:
“With the 100% acquisition of On Charge GmbH, we are further expanding our charging offering and creating charging infrastructure where people live.”
On Charge now operates as Wirelane Public Charging Germany.
