“Sport connects people – just like Flix”
André Schwämmlein, CEO and co-founder of Flix, is delighted about the new partnership:
"We are proud to become an official partner of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League as Flix. Sport connects people – just like Flix. We launched in Germany eleven years ago and are now represented in 44 countries worldwide. This partnership reflects our commitment to enabling sustainable travel for everyone – whether it's to visit friends and family or to cheer on their football team."
And Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director of UEFA, adds:
"We're delighted to partner with Flix, a company connecting communities across Europe through shared transport, who share our vision for a more sustainable future. Whether fans are traveling to an exciting UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League match or planning a longer stay, we're making it easier for them to experience the magic of football in iconic stadiums in Europe's most beautiful cities."
Collective travel options such as buses and trains are crucial for facilitating access to matches and enabling group travel. This not only fosters a sense of community on the way to the stadium but also contributes to sustainability: Using these modes of transport significantly reduces CO2 emissions compared to other options, thus having a positive impact on the environment.
