Patent meets talent: THE VENTURE competition enables prospective entrepreneurs to build a business model based on existing patents and technologies. The application deadline is May 15.
Universities, colleges, research institutes, and companies are providing aspiring founders with technologies and patents for their startups: from a universal grill attachment to a system for producing live video content to a system for accepting parcels. Interested parties can submit their business ideas based on these technologies until May 15.
“The motivation is particularly high”
The start-up competition is taking place for the second time this year.
“In the first round, promising startups based on the patents and technologies provided. Furthermore, both the participants' feedback and their professional development were very positive. This naturally makes the motivation for the second round particularly high. We are very pleased motivated founders to give you another chance to build a startup without your own technology,”
says Martin Reichenbach, one of the project leaders of THE VENTURE. The competition is supported by 60 universities from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, among others.
