The nationwide business plan competition Science4Life Venture Cup is entering a new round of competition. Startups from the life sciences, chemicals, and energy sectors can submit their business ideas until October 12, 2018. The 30 best teams will be invited to a one-day workshop in Frankfurt to further develop their plans with experts. The best ideas will be recognized afterward.
Science4Life Venture Cup runs in three phases
At the Science4Life Venture Cup, founders can complete three phases: The competition round begins with the idea phase from September to November of this year. This is followed by the concept phase until March 2019, followed by the development of a detailed business plan in the business plan phase.
The competition concludes in June 2019 with the awards ceremony and final prizes. Founders can register for each phase individually and benefit from free online seminars, tips, and input from over 300 industry experts.
Special prices in the energy sector
A total of 82,000 euros is up for grabs in the competition. Startups that submit an innovative idea in the energy sector can Science4Life Energy Award Win special prizes totaling €13,500. The Science4Life Venture Cup has been running for over 20 years. During this time, over 1,900 business ideas, over 1,000 developed business plans, and over 900 newly founded companies have been created.
