Since its founding in 2015, Techfounders has specialized in startup acceleration and startup scouting for companies. A third pillar has now been added: Venture Clienting. This approach enables established companies to increase their profitability, develop new product lines, or generally become more innovative through collaborations with startups initiated by Techfounders – without having to build up their own in-house expertise or undertake complex project management internally.
Techfounders offers companies access to the international innovation ecosystem and networking events, identifies industry trends early on, and advises on emerging technologies. The team also supports companies in establishing internal venture client organizations to anchor collaboration with startups within their organizations.
As part of the pilot project program, startups will also gain access to the ecosystem of UnternehmerTUM and can use their premises in Munich. The start-ups also receive individual coaching from experts in the fields of startups and financing.
Techfounders supports the pilot project throughout its entire duration – both on behalf of the corporate partner and the startup. Startups receive a project budget of €25,000 without having to share any equity. They are expected to use the funds to implement a pilot project together with their corporate partner as the client. Pilot projects typically last approximately 20 weeks, depending on the scope and the timeline agreed upon between the parties.
