On Monday, April 18, 2016, at 6:00 PM, an information session on the 5 Euro StartUp will take place in Lecture Hall A214 in the LMU Main Building. Here, you'll learn everything you need to know about the competition. You'll receive information about the registration process, the theory and practical phases, and examples from past participants.
Realize your own ideas – with plenty of support and without risk: The "5 Euro StartUp" program enables students from all universities to start their own business in a very short time with just €5 in start-up capital and test it on the market. Participants receive support in brainstorming and team building, and are accompanied by startups during the practical phase. Seminars on self-management, marketing, sales, and law also convey the core content.
The “5 Euro StartUp” is organized by the LMU Munich, the Munich University of Applied Sciences and HIGH JUMP, the university program for entrepreneurship. All participants in the competition will receive a certificate, and the three best teams will receive cash prizes donated by the Stadtsparkasse München. The "5 Euro StartUp" program is also supported by Student und Arbeitsmarkt, the Career Service of LMU Munich.
Students from all Munich universities, disciplines, and semesters are eligible to participate. Participation is possible individually or as a team, with or without their own business idea.
