The INNOspace Masters ideas competition has officially kicked off. Innovative ideas and solutions for the next generation of space travel can be submitted until February 13, 2017. The organizer is Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO), which is conducting the competition on behalf of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
Wanted — forward-looking ideas and market-ready concepts
This year, under the motto “Space 4.0”, the focus is primarily on projects that address current user problems and develop innovative ideas for payloads as well as solutions for the optimized production of satellites and launch systems.
We are looking for forward-looking ideas, research projects, demonstrators, prototypes and innovative, but already operational business concepts.
Prizes will be awarded in three different competition categories depending on the degree of maturity and innovation. Among other things, the winners can look forward to comprehensive marketing and communication measures and network contacts, as well as technological and economic support from partners such as DLR, Airbus Defence and Space, and ESA BIC Bavaria.
Who can apply?
Interested companies, startups, universities and non-university research institutions, consortia and individuals can submit their innovative ideas for the next generation of space travel to the INNOspace Masters competition until February 13, 2017.
The winners of the individual competition categories and the main winner will be honored on May 17, 2017, at the INNOspace Masters “Space 4.0” conference in Berlin.
