The Dortmund-based IT company Conciso is looking for startups that want to bring digital ideas with significant benefits to market. The Rising Digital Award is therefore being launched for the third time. The winners will receive €30,000 in prize money and coaching from Conciso to accelerate their idea's market readiness.
Individuals, teams, and startups from across Germany and the EU that have been operating for a maximum of 24 months are eligible to apply. They can submit their ideas until March 17, 2024. A jury of experts from business and academia will select the most promising startups. The nominees will present their ideas in person at two pitch days in May in Dortmund and answer questions from the jury. The awards ceremony will take place in June.
More than 60 startups participated in the Rising Digital Award 2023. Logistikbude took the top spot. Its web-based software automates processes related to containers and load carriers, organizing tracking and managing exchange processes. The team, led by founder Philipp Hüning, previously worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, where they learned about the challenges surrounding the Euro pallet.
How the startup was able to benefit from winning the competition is explained Tobias Schündelen, Organizer of the competition:
"In the fall of 2023, Logistikbude gained additional investors and will launch with new features in the spring. We were able to support the team in realizing their vision and further developing the business. And we are confident that Logistikbude will continue to achieve its goals in the future."
