Start?Grant!: Winning teams of the 16th competition round have been announced

The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs has once again honored 20 startups with the Start?Zuschuss! Founders' Award. The winners include a total of 14 young companies from the Munich ecosystem.

With the Start?Zuschuss! program, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs supports technology-oriented startups with particularly future-proof, innovative business concepts in the field of digitalization, which were founded no more than two years ago. The winners receive up to €36,000 in funding to cover their start-up costs after founding. Eligible expenses include, in particular, personnel, rent, product market launch, and research and development.

A jury of experts has now selected the winners of the 16th competition phase. The following startup teams from Munich and the surrounding area can look forward to funding:

Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger commented:

"Our competition has established itself in the Bavarian startup scene. I am convinced that every euro of prize money is well invested in these startups. They are developing the business models of the future. The more than 100 applicants have proven that they are at the cutting edge with their topics such as cloud and AI software, IoT concepts, and cybersecurity."

Next round of Start?Zuschuss! competition starts in November

Bavaria, the state of Bavaria, also expects high participation in the next phase. The 17th competition round is expected to kick off on November 20, 2023. From then on, technology-oriented startups can again apply for the Start?Zuschuss! funding program until January 8, 2024.
