BlackwaveSince 2016, the Munich-based startup has been supplying components to the automotive and aerospace industries. Blackwave uses a process dating back to the 1960s, but with the most modern materials – carbon. The components are characterized by their low weight and high stability. The process is considered highly automated and cost-efficient, as it generates almost no production waste. Blackwave's customers include well-known corporations such as Airbus, Porsche, Webasto, and ESA. Munich-based startups such as Isar Aerospace, Vectoflow, and Fazua also rely on the technology. Last year, the startup completed its latest financing round, raising four million euros. Investors include Ann-Kristin and Paul Achleitner, as well as Alpine Space Ventures. (Image: Blackwave)
