5 Munich startups for Industry 4.0

These five Munich-based startups are developing solutions for Industry 4.0 – from modern robots and networked systems to new methods and materials.

Nebumind analytics platform
In the area of optimized and new processes for Industry 4.0, NebumindThe startup develops software that monitors the quality of components throughout the entire production process. The software collects all production data it can obtain from machines and sensors during the manufacturing of a component. It then creates "digital component twins" that the worker can view on their laptop. This makes it easier to trace production errors and optimize production. The company was founded in 2019 by Caroline Albert and Franz Engel; its backers include ESA BIC Bavaria and the SMEs Executive Agency of the European Innovation Council (EIC). (Image: Nebumind)
