MIG Capital expands investment team

Munich-based investor MIG Capital has expanded its investment team with four new hires, aiming to broaden the investor's expertise.

The new team members will bring a greater diversity of perspectives, interdisciplinary skills, and international experience to MIG Capital. With the four new employees, the team now consists of 11 people. Fei Tian, a doctor with a doctorate, has joined the Life Sciences team as a Principal, while Frederick Michna, a business economist, and Oliver Kahl, a physicist with a doctorate, have joined the Deeptech team. Andreas Kastenbauer, a business economist, is a new Partner at MIG Capital and will be part of the Life Sciences team.

The investor’s active portfolio includes the Munich-based companies AMSilk, Efficient Energy, Immatics, Iomx, IQM, Isarna Therapeutics, Kewazo, Konux, Navvis, Temedica and WealthpilotThe Munich-based investor had been investing in Biontech since 2008 and completed the exit in 2021.
