5 Edtech startups from Munich that are revolutionizing learning

The digitalization of learning continues to advance. Innovative startups, in particular, are driving this development—as these five examples from the Munich startup scene demonstrate.

Jana Krotsch, Ubimaster
The tutoring platform from Ubimaster serves the needs of students and trainees in a customized and fixed-price way. This means users are connected directly to a qualified tutor, rather than simply accessing learning plans and explanatory videos. According to the startup, it takes a maximum of two minutes for the right contact person to respond – seven days a week.
Ubimaster offers its products to both parents and companies. The latter can integrate the service into their employee benefit programs, thus supporting all children of the workforce, regardless of their parents' income. Since its founding in 2019, Ubimaster claims to have provided more than 10,000 students with access to a better education, with around 75 percent improving their grades thanks to the Munich-based company. In October 2022, the edtech startup founded by Jana Krotsch received a Seed financing of EUR 2.5 milliono complete.
