The Farmvision Festival presents new, innovative insights from agriculture and agricultural research, such as drones and robots. It is organized by the Hans Eisenmann Forum for Agricultural Sciences together with researchers from various departments at the Technical University of Munich, the TUM Venture Labs, and partner institutions. It will take place on May 6 at the TUM Campus Weihenstephan.
Part of the program will also be a workshop organized by the TUM Venture Labs Pitch event where founders can present their agri-ideas to the audience and compete for two grants: a TUM Startup Booster Grant worth 45,000 euros for a project in the outdoor agriculture sector; and a TUM Deep Tech Venture Grant worth 20,000 euros.
The application deadline is April 25
The award depends on the type of founding team. The Booster Grant is open to newly founded startups with a TUM background or a host chair at TUM. The Deep Tech Venture Grant, on the other hand, is reserved for agri-founders without a TUM background. The team must also consist primarily of international founders (at least 50 percent of whom are not German citizens) and intend to establish a company in the greater Munich area.
