I-care Award: Digital innovations for care sought

Digital innovations can ease the daily workload of nursing staff and improve patient care. The I-care Award recognizes digital innovations in this field and provides funding of up to €5,000. Applications are accepted until May 31.

The I-care Award, presented by the pharmaceutical company Servier, will be presented as part of the German Nursing Day in Berlin in September 2023. Up to three digital innovations will be recognized that enable nursing staff in outpatient care services, day care centers, inpatient care facilities, or hospitals to devote more time and quality to direct contact with patients and those in need. The first-place winners will receive funding of up to €5,000. An interdisciplinary jury will decide on the award.

Munich among the winners of the I-care Award

To apply, the submitted digital application must have been on the German market since January 1, 2020, at the earliest. All companies based in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland that are less than five years old and have fewer than 100 employees are eligible to apply.

One of the companies that has already received the I-care Award is Cliniserve. Munich startup secured the award in 2021. The Cliniserve enables nurses and hospital staff to spend more time with patients with its digital mobile application. Smart task management helps reduce duplicate walking and time-consuming phone calls, as well as prioritize and delegate tasks.
