Driverhero becomes Workerhero

As Workerhero, the Munich-based startup not only wants to expand its platform to include other industries, but also wants to provide employees with opportunities for upskilling.

With the renaming of Driverhero The Munich-based startup is also expanding its expertise with the company's transformation into Workerhero. Driverhero originally started out as a way to connect delivery companies with drivers. In the future, the young company plans to focus on the entire blue-collar sector, i.e., the area in which blue-collar workers such as tradespeople, healthcare workers, or industrial workers work.

Recruiting campaigns to combat the shortage of skilled workers

Richard Fischer, CEO of Workerhero, says about his company's current course adjustment:

"The demand for suitable candidates is very high in many industries. After our initial very positive experiences in the driver market, both from the company and the applicant side, we are transferring our process and expertise to other industries."

On Workerhero In the future, companies should be able to find a large number of applicants who can be contacted directly via the platform. Furthermore, companies should be able to use customized recruiting campaigns to reach additional candidates for job openings in a targeted manner and thus find suitable employees despite the shortage of skilled workers. Workerhero will handle the automated campaign creation, distribution, and optimization.

Upskilling: Further development thanks to training opportunities

The Munich-based startup's platform will offer not only blue-collar jobs but also continuing education opportunities. Based on their current job profile, interested parties will be presented with a range of training opportunities. The so-called upskilling of skilled and unskilled professionals is a priority for Workerhero, as Fischer emphasizes:

"We're not a job-slinging startup; our startup operates with heart and soul. In the future, we'll not only help job seekers find the right job in the right company, but also foster their potential for further development. We believe that being offered career opportunities and working in your dream job shouldn't be an unattainable privilege. That's why we've created a platform that showcases precisely these opportunities for people."
