Apply now for Energy Challenge Germany 2023

Together with German Entrepreneurship, Baystartup, and Spinlab, the Bavarian Representative Office for South America is looking for German startups with solutions for the energy transition. The challenge aims to pave their way into the Chilean market. Applications are open until December 15th.

The "Energy Challenge Germany 2023" is an accelerator program of the AHK Chile and the Bavarian Representative Office for South America. It is organized as part of the Chile-Alemania Energy Partnership, an initiative of the Chilean Ministry of Energy and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. German Entrepreneurship, Baystartup, the Center for Digitalization Bavaria, and Expande, the Chilean innovation organization for industry, among others, also support the challenge.

The goal of the program is to introduce energy startups from Germany to industry representatives from Chile. This will enable Chileans to gain insight into the innovative potential of the German startup landscape. German startups, in turn, will be able to access new international business opportunities in the Chilean energy sector. Applications are still possible until 15 December 2021.

The winners of the Energy Challenge Germany fly to Chile

The winners of the program will be invited to Chile to explore business opportunities in the Chilean market and meet with potential partners and customers, such as companies, research centers, and accelerators. They will also have the opportunity to engage with the local energy startup ecosystem on various occasions. They can also participate in Expomin, the largest international mining trade fair in Latin America, and pitch their startup there. Last year, Breeze Technologies from Hamburg, Ecoligo from Frankfurt am Main, and ARI Motors from Borna secured tickets to Chile.
