Angelidou-Smith joins from Meta, where she served as VP Product & General Manager of Communities, overseeing and growing a range of global businesses, including Facebook Groups, Events, and Dating, as well as core products like Search and Profiles. During her time at Meta, Angelidou-Smith also served as VP Product & Head of Facebook Monetization. In this role, she was responsible for launching and scaling innovative monetization products and driving billions in revenue.

New roles for Personio co-founders
Starting November 22, Maria Angelidou-Smith will report to Hanno Renner. Personio co-founders Roman Schumacher (formerly CPO) and Arseniy Vershinin (formerly CTO) will Personio will remain in new roles. Vershinin will lead technology projects as Chief Architect, while Schumacher, in addition to his duties as a member of the Personio Board, will move into a conceptual role where he will support company-wide initiatives, including those related to product positioning and architecture.
