According to Süddeutsche Zeitung, the company pays just under 50 euros per square meter in rent per month. Over the 15-year lease term, this would amount to approximately 350 million euros in rental costs for the Munich-based unicorn.
The coworking provider WeWork has also rented around 14,000 square meters in the complex.
Personio among Germany's most valuable startups
Personio was founded in 2015 by Hanno Renner, Roman Schumacher, Arseniy Vershinin, and Ignaz Forstmeier. The Munich-based startup offers HR software for small and medium-sized businesses. Since January 2021, the company has broken the sound barrier of a $1 billion valuation and is therefore one of the unicorn startups.
