 UVC Partners also invested in Isar AerospaceThe connections to the Technical University of Munich (TUM) go further, however: Isar Aerospace was founded in 2018 as a result of a rocket technology initiative by TUM students. Since then, the Munich-based aerospace company has focused on building small launch vehicles capable of transporting modern small satellites. The production of Spectrum, Isar Aerospace's two-stage launcher, is progressing according to plan: The Munich-based company has already completed the construction of its own, vertically integrated production facility and is working on completing important tests. Once these milestones have been reached, nothing stands in the way of a first test flight at the end of 2022. To finance this project, the Munich-based company has already Raise 171 million euros.
