Apps4MUC 2022: Competition seeks mobile applications for urban society

The Apps4MUC competition is entering its third round. We're looking for helpful mobile applications for urban communities. This year's open call theme is "NeoCommunity."

Apps4MUC has received funding from the Munich City Council to support 20 apps with up to 20,000 euros each over several years. The funding is aimed at private individuals, students, small and medium-sized enterprises, and Startups within the IT community in and around Munich. The apps sought should function independently. At the same time, they should be simple and user-friendly. Furthermore, it is desired that the submitted applications should be easily integrated, for example via web links, into systems of the City of Munich, such as the Open Data Portal or GeoPortal The use of city administration data sources is expressly encouraged.

Apps4MUC is looking for solutions for the “NeoCommunity”

This year's theme, "NeoCommunity," refers to applications that facilitate community life, whether within a neighborhood or among people with similar interests. The apps are intended to support and enrich community life, exchange, and everyday life for citizens. Applications are accepted until June 30th. However, they must be submitted in paper form.
