Munich Business Plan Competition: 10 startups awarded

Ten startups with life science and technology solutions have prevailed in Phase 1 of Baystartup's Munich Business Plan Competition 2022. The teams that impressed the jury will each receive 500 euros in prize money.

Among the top 10 award winners in the first phase of this year's Munich Business Plan Competition are startups from a wide range of application areas – including a novel viral immunotherapy for tumor treatment, an industrial smart watch, a digital simulation platform for engineers and wind-powered microcargo ships.

“The startups do not follow any supposed trend with their solutions, but rather exploit innovation potential in a wide variety of areas,”

thinks Fabian Brunner, Head of the Munich Business Plan Competition, in addition.

Applications for Phase 2 now open

The participating startups had to impress the jury in two stages: with their submitted written business plans and a subsequent pitch among 20 nominees. Regardless of whether they win an award, every business plan submitted to the Munich Business Plan Competition receives jury feedback.

In the second phase of the competition, participating startups will submit a business plan of around 20 pages, which will primarily outline their marketing and sales strategy. Both Phase 1 participants and career changers can register and submit their documents until March 29.
