Shops in the Town Hall, Ruffini House and City Museum available

Three shops for the cultural and creative industries are available for temporary use in Munich's city center. Interested parties can apply until April 4.

The Competence team for cultural and creative industries is looking for projects with a focus on the cultural and creative industries for the stores. The actors and products should come from at least one of the eleven submarkets of the cultural and creative industries and ideally have a connection to the topic of "Munich" and "city center." International collaborations are possible if the focus is on the cultural and creative industries scene in the greater Munich area. Collaborations are generally welcome. Individual actors cannot be considered.

Three stores, three opportunities

There is one shop each available in the town hall, the Ruffinihaus, and the city museum. The space in the town hall covers approximately 60 square meters and costs €500. The shop in the Ruffinihaus on Rindermarkt is approximately 33 square meters, but comes with an additional 23 square meters of storage space. It is also available for €500. For the approximately 64 square meters in the city museum, however, the team is asking €400.

All prices quoted include 19 percent VAT, and utilities and electricity are included. The interim uses are being facilitated by the Department of Municipal Affairs, the Department of Culture, and the Referat für Arbeit und Wirtschaft, and are being implemented and supported by the Cultural and Creative Industries Competence Team of the City of Munich.

Test business models & expand customer contacts

By using the centrally located stores for a year, creative companies can test their business models, develop customer relationships, sell their products, and increase their brand visibility. Under the "Munich Creative Heart Beat" label, they are also intended to bring fresh energy, variety, diversity, and space for innovation to the city center.
