When it comes to digitalization, there's still a lot of room for improvement in the construction industry. But these Munich-based startups want to change that with a wide range of solutions.

Conxai
Conxai utilizes the infrastructure already existing on construction sites to digitize them. The AI platform collects and analyzes data from cameras and other available sensors to analyze construction activities and interpret how they influence the development of the building structures. This allows the construction site to be automatically monitored in real time, and all cost-optimizing events, safety, quality, and logistics can be identified and reported. In the future, the Conxai AI will also detect deviations from the construction plan and thus indicate problems at an early stage. Just in January 2022, the Munich-based startup successfully completed a Seed round, raising 2.7 million euros were collected. (Photo: Martina Kurt)
