Investors A Round Capital, Beyer Holding and Uventures already joined Charry in December. Munich startup is currently operating its service in Munich, Berlin, and Hamburg. With the fresh capital, the company plans to expand its ship-from-store solution to other German cities.
Charry wants to offer its customers a “complete carefree package”
The young company supports brick-and-mortar retailers in processing orders through their own online shops and marketplaces such as Amazon or Zalando. The retailers bind the Startup directly into the sales process via the respective interface of the shop software used. As soon as a customer purchases something from a local retailer, the order is also received by Charry. The startup sends an employee to the store that same day to pick up the goods unpackaged. The products are then packaged and shipped within 24 hours. Charry also handles returns if necessary. The retailer can thus outsource the entire logistics to the startup and avoid setting up its own shipping structures. Benjamin Keller and Maximilian von Forstner, founder and managing director of Charry, say:
“We want to offer our customers a complete, worry-free package so they can focus on their core competency: selling.”
Last year, the Munich-based startup, founded in 2016, was able to achieve seven-figure sales with its service.
