The DICA Accelerator enters its 6th round

The Drink Innovation Campus (DICA) Accelerator Program is once again seeking startups with new ideas for the beverage industry. The focus is once again on the changes brought about by the coronavirus crisis. The application deadline is November 18, 2021.

In the ongoing coronavirus crisis, innovative ideas and solutions for the changes in the beverage industry are particularly sought after. Therefore, for its 6th batch, DICA is looking for startups with applications for the beverage industry in the areas of digitalization in logistics, production and distribution, or sustainability in packaging and materials. Startups can apply until November 18. apply for the program online.

The DICA is supported by the innovation partners Ardagh Group, Bitburger Brewery Group, Drinktec, Franken Brunnen and Inside-Getränke. In addition, the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) The program combines the expertise of these partners with its know-how in startup support and innovation acceleration. In this way, the program pools industry and startup expertise for founders from the beverage industry. The DICA aims to accelerate innovative solutions through co-creation between startups and innovation partners.

DICA program schedule

On the Application A pre-matching workshop will be held for selected startups with recognizable potential for B2B co-creation. At a subsequent matching event, industrial companies and startups will get to know each other better. The actual implementation will then begin.

With inclusion in the DICA batch, startups will have access to innovation partners from industry for intensive exchange and potential collaboration. In addition, the SCE provides a budget of €1,000 per startup for material resources.

The selection for the DICA program and matching will take place virtually on December 9, 2021.
