The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship is looking for new startups for its Drink Innovation Campus (DICA)This time, the focus is on solutions that support a shift towards a circular economy in various areas of the beverage industry.
Through co-creation, DICA aims to introduce new technologies such as blockchain, innovative approaches to digital applications, and revolutionary process innovations and products into the beverage industry. The program aims to accelerate the development of participating startups and established companies in the beverage industry.
Beverage startups can apply until April 21
According to its own statements, DICA aims to “consciously create a space in which experiments and new partnership models can be conceived and implemented for both startups and established companies.” Overarching themes include social change, for example in the areas of consumer behavior or population structure, the challenges of digitalization, and the demand for sustainable action.
The Drink Innovation Campus was launched in 2019 by Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), the entrepreneurship center of the Munich University of Applied Sciences. Klaus Sailer, Managing Director of SCE, said at the time about the direction of the beverage accelerator:
“With DICA, we offer startups and innovation partners not only methodological support, but also a unique space in which we can experiment together on innovations and develop and advance ideas.”
