Who hasn't experienced this: You're following a presentation and would like to access the information you heard there afterward? Since forwarding documents is often too time-consuming, many people resort to the simplest solution: They take photos of the slides. A situation that is anything but contemporary. The founders of the Munich startup Slideflight thought the same thing and developed the "digital handout.".
Everyone has held a handout in their hands, albeit usually in analog form. But how do you get a digital one? It's simple: Presenters can use Slideflight to stream their presentations to their audience's mobile devices in real time. After downloading the Slideflight PowerPoint add-in, they can publish the presentation with one click and are assigned a 6-digit ID. With this ID, the audience can follow the presentation live in real time on their notebooks, tablets, or smartphones using the Slideflight app or the web viewer in their browser. The presentation can easily be exported as a PDF, saved for later, and used as a digital handout.
Slideflight's ease of use has already made a name for itself on the market: Last year, the technology was used at the Thuringian Personnel Congress and the Handelsblatt Change Congress. 2016 is also off to a good start: Slideflight is scheduled to be used at didacta (the world's largest education fair), the DGfE Congress, and the Petersberg Trainer Days. The solution is also scheduled to be deployed in the education sector at several universities. And its success seems to be paying off:
"Because we are firmly convinced of the potential of the solution and the capabilities of the management, we have decided to invest a seven-figure sum to expand the technology and strengthen the sales and marketing department."
, said investor Senovo.
This money can also be put to good use in the sales and marketing area, as Slideflight recently released version 2.0. In addition to an improved design, users also have access to numerous additional features.
