Vcoach closes pre-seed financing

Vcoach has secured pre-seed financing in the high six-figure range. In addition to Better Ventures, several business angels are investing in the Munich-based startup.

Vcoach offers app-based and AI-supported communication training. Among its customers are Munich company Marc O'Polo and Telefónica are among the companies that are involved. The offering is aimed at "young professionals, young leaders, and agile teams." Managing Director and Co-Founder Stephanie Mayer says:

"Soft skills training has become a top priority in human resource development—yet today's soft skills training programs are costly, ineffective, unsustainable, barely scalable, or inadequately tailored to individual training needs. With our virtual communication training, we want to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to realize their full potential."

“We see great potential in Vcoach”

The fresh capital will be used for product and software development and the recruitment of new employees. Managing Director Stephanie Mayer said the company will continue to improve the product. The goal is to implement additional training courses using artificial intelligence and to develop new areas such as the education sector.

Business Angel Christoph Behn says:

"We see great potential in Vcoach because the founding team is personally and professionally diverse and will help many people bring out the best in themselves and others, both professionally and personally. In the long term, Vcoach will thus contribute to more equal opportunities and a better world, since soft skills training, so crucial for professional success, has so far been reserved only for a small elite."
