The competition Bavaria's Best 50 is looking for owner-managed companies that have achieved above-average Employee and sales growth achieved.
Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger gives the starting signal for Bavaria’s Best 50:
"The twentieth edition of our SME Award is taking place under special circumstances. Especially now, our economy needs encouragement and role models to demonstrate the strength of Bavaria's SMEs. I am therefore particularly looking forward to honoring the 50 fastest-growing companies in the Free State."
Encouragers and role models sought for Bavaria's Best 50
As in the previous year, the Ministry of Economic Affairs The 'Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year' is also selected from among Bavaria's Best 50. Selection criteria include the entrepreneur's economic success and her active role in the company.
“We want to encourage more women to play a stronger role in the economy,”
explains Aiwanger.
There is also another special award: a special prize for particularly training-intensive companies honors the high level of commitment of small and medium-sized enterprises to training. The winners are selected based on objective criteria by the auditing and consulting firm Baker Tilly, acting as an independent jury on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs.
