After the past 12 months of the coronavirus pandemic, the world is different than before. In addition to the obvious changes—such as the economic crisis, a strong push toward digitalization, and political polarization—the virus has impacted the lives of every individual and, of course, the way startups operate.
Last year, 18 startups were featured in our video series #CoronaUpdate reported how the crisis has specifically impacted their business. The videos showed how differently the pandemic has affected them: For one, Corona forced them to stop operations, for example FlixbusIn contrast, Air Up According to its founder Lena Jüngst, the company emerged from the crisis stronger.
In a new video series, we want to take a first look at the post-coronavirus era: What will remain once the coronavirus is history? What will the post-coronavirus world look like?
As in #CoronaUpdate, in our new series #TheWorldAfterCorona, Munich startups share their unvarnished perspective on the crisis. They report on how they had to adapt and also on the positive changes the crisis has triggered. At the end, we ask the startups to self-assess: Are you a Corona winner or a Corona loser?
