Multiconnect and CX Labs are looking for CX-interested AI startups

The ICT SME Multiconnect and the Munich-based technology startup CX Labs are jointly developing a machine learning-powered cloud contact center system. "Project Apollo" is also open to other startups.

"With this project, we're aiming for a major breakthrough—especially in the area of voice interaction. The hype surrounding topics like Clubhouse shows how important and popular 'voice' still is, or is becoming again. Language is the most natural and effective form of communication between people, and in the future, between humans and machines. It is the user interface of the future."

says CX Labs-Founder Robert Klein.

“There are a number of solid to good contact center providers on the market, but no one really dares to tackle the big issues. We want to change that with CX Labs,”

supplemented Manfred Artmeier from the IT providers and network operators Multiconnect. These topics are primarily found in the areas of new work, organizational machine learning, and the democratization of call centers. Klein adds:

“Intelligent automation, flexibility, flat hierarchies, remote working, a culture of employee appreciation, and a focus on the best and most holistic customer experience are the key success factors for the contact center of the future.”

Shared exchange and access to the Multiconnect network

The project is supported by the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and other startups can also participate. Multiconnect, which has been supported by the “MUC-Up” program have experience in working with startups, and the founders of CX Labs also want to use the Apollo program to exchange ideas with other startups.

“We see Apollo as an initiative, not as an exclusive project,”

Klein said. Startups that can optimize complex processes in real time using artificial intelligence (AI) are especially welcome. They can participate, for example, as community partners. This gives them access to a network of experts and decision-makers that CX Labs and Multiconnect have built around "Project Apollo," as well as to the medium-sized company's customer base in the customer service sector. There's also the option of participating in the "MUC-Up" program for startups.
