The municipal retail store in the town hall, opposite Ludwig Beck, will be occupied from March 1, 2021, to the end of February 2022 – and then regularly on an annual basis. Creative companies can apply for the space of just under 60 square meters by email to kreativ@muenchen.de apply.
We are looking for a retail project with a focus on the cultural and creative industries. The actors and products should come from at least one of the eleven submarkets of the cultural and creative industries and have a connection to Munich. These submarkets are: the music industry, the book market, the art market, the film industry, the broadcasting industry, the performing arts market, the design industry, the architecture market, the press market, the advertising market, and the software and games industry.
Interim uses are experimental spaces
With a one-year use of the centrally located store, creative companies can test their business model, develop customer contacts, sell their products and ensure greater visibility of their brand
International collaborations are also possible if the focus is on the cultural and creative industries scene in the greater Munich area. Collaborations are generally welcome; individual actors cannot be considered. The prerequisite is that a spatial consultation has been conducted beforehand by the Competence team for the cultural and creative industries of the City of Munich which implements and supervises the interim use. For such advice, you can also contact kreativ@muenchen.de register.
