Social-Bee nominated for Finance4SocialChange

The Munich-based startup Social-Bee is one of three German companies nominated for the Finance4SocialChange competition.

With Social Bee, Afringa and Body memory A total of three German social enterprises have been shortlisted for the Finance4SocialChange project. The international competition honors the best impact business idea from Germany, Bulgaria, Moldova, Austria, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Romania. The final will take place in Budapest in March 2021.

Finance4SocialChange brings together impact investing and social entrepreneurship

A total of €30,000 in prize money is up for grabs. In addition to the prize money, the social enterprises will have the opportunity to network with selected investment firms and social impact banking experts from Unicredit Bank (which also donates the prize money). Networking with regional business partners and targeted mentoring from the competition's local partner network are also part of the prize.

The social enterprises that are allowed to take part in the competition were selected according to the strict criteria of the Munich Financing Agency for Social Entrepreneurship (FASE) In addition to social and ecological aspects of the business idea, the Efficiency of the business model in solving social problems. At the same time, impact measurement and the sustainability of social enterprises in their respective markets are important.
