Founded in 2016, the Munich-based startup Blickfeld builds LiDAR sensors that can be used for autonomous driving, among other things. LiDAR stands for 'Light Detection and Ranging' and is a method for optical distance and speed measurement. With this approach, the Munich-based startup not only impressed the jury at the European Startup Prize for Mobility 2019 convince, but also investors at the beginning of this year in a successfully completed Series A financing round.
