Navvis measures and digitizes interiors using a specially developed trolley. We spoke with CEO and co-founder Felix Reinshagen.
In short, the Munich startup Navvis Described as "Google Maps for indoor spaces": The internet giant from Mountain View has mapped the entire world and made it digitally accessible. Every place in the world can be discovered virtually in seconds: Where can I find a supermarket, a subway station, or an ATM?
So far, however, Google can't map buildings. We always notice this deficiency when we enter a large building. Just like 100 years ago, we have to rely on signposts and room numbers to find the right room. Navvis wants to change this and has been extremely successful. At the end of 2018, the Munich-based company was able to 35.5 million dollars in investments recruit.
Felix Reinshagen: “We were in the right place at the right time”

He also explains what he thinks about Munich as a business location—and where he sees room for improvement.
