Are you operating a startup in the tourism industry? Then seize the opportunity to present your innovative project at the 2020 Tourism Forum. The application deadline is March 6, 2020.
The shortage of skilled workers is omnipresent in the hospitality and catering industry. This year's Upper Bavaria Tourism Forum on 23 March 2020, which will be attended by Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria, the Dehoga Bayern e. V. / District of Upper Bavaria and the Tourismus Oberbayern München e.V. under the title "Tourism as an attractive employer: Strategies for attracting skilled workers" provides an overview of what companies and destinations can do to attract and retain skilled workers.
Innovations are crucial for companies to attract applicants. Therefore, in addition to expert presentations, startups related to leisure and tourism, hospitality and gastronomy, culture, and events will be given the opportunity to present themselves to the Upper Bavarian tourism community in short pitches. The selected startups will also receive a booth at the Tourism Forum's Startup Expo.

The three organizers select the startups that have the greatest relevance for the target group in an internal committee.

- Benefits/added value for tourists or benefits/added value for companies that should use the startup's services
- previous experience in the industry (industry expertise)
