Are you operating your startup in the tourism industry? Then seize the opportunity and present your innovative project at the 2018 Tourism Forum. The application deadline is March 15, 2018.
Digitalization is transforming industries—including the tourism industry. But the hotel, restaurant, and tourist information industries face not only challenges, but also new opportunities.
But how can digital transformation in the tourism industry be successful? This question will be addressed within the framework of the Tourism Forum 2018 on 10 April 2018, to which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria, the DEHOGA Bayern e. V. / District of Upper Bavaria and the Tourism Upper Bavaria Munich eV (TOM) invite.
In addition to expert presentations, startups related to leisure and tourism, hospitality and gastronomy, culture, and events will also have the opportunity to present themselves to the Upper Bavarian tourism community in two-minute presentations. Furthermore, the selected startups will receive a booth space at the Tourism Forum's Startup EXPO.

Interested? Then send your short, informative and informal application to startup@muenchen.ihk.de. The requirements: Your startup should be no more than 5 years old and should have a functional prototype.
The three organizers select five startups that have the greatest relevance for the target group in an internal committee.
The following criteria play a role, among others:
- Idea / Originality
- Benefits/added value for tourists or benefits/added value for companies that should use the startup's services
- previous experience in the industry (industry expertise)
