The Bavarian University of Applied Sciences (HDBW) has announced a total of four new master's degree programs focusing on digitalization in companies for March next year.
With the new degree programs, the college counteract the shortage of IT specialists in Bavaria. A total of 50 percent of IT positions are vacant, which means a shortage of 50,000 specialists. This shortage could lead to Bavaria increasingly falling behind in the global transformation. The new master's programs each last three semesters and are intended Digitization-Produce experts for the economy. Evelyn Ehrenberger, President of HDBW says:
"With project work on current practical topics and elective courses from various application areas, we train digitalization visionaries and implementers who do not remain stuck in theory but can tackle concrete challenges directly."
